Tom welling Returns to the CW???

During the Television Critics Association’s summer press tour, CW President Mark Pedowitz reported as saying to TV Line “that The CW is game to again offer Tom Welling a home, as a producer. Welling pitched the network as recently as this past spring, and Pedowitz hopes to hear from the Smallville alum again this coming development season.” per Matt Webb Mitovich of TVLine. This is the second year in a row that the CW has expressed an interest at Tom Welling returning to the network and further an indication that Mr. Welling is still pitching new projects to the networks and not just golfing these days. Mark Pedowitz also acknowledged that the “The loss of Smallville actually had an impact to us (the CW Network).” Further saying that Arrow was brought on in an attempt to bring back male viewers to the network.i
